40 People Practising Subagh Kriya for 40 Days: Here’s What Happened

What happens when forty people from across the globe commit to practising Kundalini Yoga’s Subagh Kriya for abundance every day for 40 days? Magic, transformation and flows of prosperity—that’s what.

Over six weeks, we united as a community to explore this powerful practice, known for its ability to turn misfortune into prosperity and wealth. This journey was guided by me and Dharamjot. But we were also students, recipients and participants. This was seriously an adventure in courage, trust and expansion; one where we needed to hold space for the group AND be on the ride ourselves. Nobody could miss this one!

The Power of Subagh Kriya

Subagh Kriya is a 15-minute Kundalini Yoga practice designed to dissolve energetic blocks, cultivate clarity, and align practitioners with the flow of abundance. Practicing it daily brings a sense of direction and the courage to act on intuition. It’s simple yet profound and when done in a supportive group setting, its effects are amplified. This is the multiplier effect we were dying to unlock.

Here’s how we structured the journey:

  • Daily Practice: Live sessions were held online at 6:15 am AEST, or participants could use guided recordings.

  • Community Connection: A WhatsApp group kept everyone inspired, where members shared wins, insights and stories of unexpected windfalls and gifts.

  • Global Reach: Participants joined from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Croatia, the UK, Uruguay, Thailand, Malaysia, and the USA, creating a truly international experience.

What We Experienced (the Gold)

With a sustained 40 day commitment - which wasn’t always easy - this practice transformed our energy fields and our lives. Practicing together daily for 40 days brought material gains, from financial windfalls to new career opportunities but also deeply personal transformations. Many participants shared how Subagh Kriya helped them rewrite old stories of scarcity, build self-worth, and trust in life’s flow. For some, it even became a family or workplace ritual, spreading joy and gratitude far beyond the Zoom screen.

Here are just a few of the powerful stories shared:

  • “Being a part of this group was my biggest win of late. I rewrote stories of sacrifice and suffering to achieve abundance, and last week, I hosted my biggest sell-out event effortlessly. Subagh Kriya connected me to trust, courage, and inner resilience. It ignited a belief in me that won’t ever leave!”

  • “Practicing Subagh Kriya makes me happy. I’ve shared it at work, and even my colleagues now say ‘Har Har,’ which gets us all in a vibe of happiness and ease. It’s the best for opening opportunities and tuning into gratitude.”

  • “The last 40 days have brought me material and spiritual prosperity. I’ve learned to appreciate life on a deeper level. The journey was topped off by seeing a shooting star while camping. Thank you all for this enriching experience!”

  • “I’ve enjoyed being consistent again with my practice. I’ve noticed calmer reactions to things that would usually trigger me. No anxiety, just a sense of ease. I even received unexpected abundance—$300 cash and a bottle of Shiraz as a thank-you for my work. Amazing!”

A Personal Reflection

For me, this journey was life-changing. Having recently stepped into working solely for myself, I was navigating the unknown without financial security for the first time. About half way through the 40 days, opportunities began aligning effortlessly, just when I needed it, including a dream gig within an amazing studio.

This (edited) prayer by Tosha Silver guided me throughout the journey and mirrors the transformation Subagh Kriya brought into my life:

Allow me to give with complete ease and abundance. Let me be an easy, open conduit for the flow of prosperity. Let me trust that all my own needs are always met in amazing ways and that it’s safe to give freely as my heart guides. And equally, let me feel wildly open to receiving. May I know my own value, beauty, and worthiness without question. Let me allow others the supreme pleasure of giving to me. May I feel worthy to receive in every possible way. Change me into one who can fully love, forgive, and accept myself. Let everything that needs to go, go. Let everything that needs to come, come. All is well.

The Biggest Gift - Self Belief

Subagh Kriya helped me shift into alignment with these words. It taught me I can magnetise what I need without clinging to what no longer serves me, releasing me from the clutches of financial fear. I’ve come to understand that it’s safe to follow my heart, even if it means stepping away from traditional notions of material security. True security now resides within me, in my trust in myself and my capabilities. And that’s all I need.

WOW.

Fun Facts from Our Journey

  • Our biggest live session had 26 participants, with an average of 14 people practising together each day.

  • Wednesdays were the most popular day for live attendance.

  • We warmed up with Kundalini Frogs beginning with one frog on day one and building up to 40 by the end of the 40 days. Go us!

  • We practised with a range of different music tracks and Subagh Kriya by Akal Stars quickly became the group favourite.

Community Spirit

The power of the community elevated our practice of Subagh Kriya to entirely new heights. When individuals come together with a shared intention, their collective energy amplifies, creating a supportive field that deepens each person’s experience. This resonance allows participants to tap into a larger energetic flow, making it easier to sustain focus, dissolve resistance and open to transformation. Something we all witnessed and felt as truth - magnifying the impact of the practice for everyone involved.

What a blessing. Wahe Guru.
